I’ve always admired quality cars, and I now own what I consider the ultimate
- a Bentley which I’ve named Amelia. In mint condition, the 1988 Bentley V8 Turbo RL has a long wheel base, weighs three tonnes, is British Racing Green in colour and, at the time of writing, she had travelled only 81,000 kilometres.
Only 1,112 of these British cars were built, with each hand-made
by the one crew from start to finish. There are but a few in Australia.
She’s a beauty, my pride and joy. Based at beautiful Moonta Bay on South Australia’s Yorke Peninsula, I operate her as achauffeur-driven experience, wearing my traditional black-and-white chauffeur’s uniform.
Whether it’s a day trip to nearby seaside attractions or famous wine regions, a wedding, a school formal or any special occasion, let me take you for a drive in Amelia. You’ll feel like royalty!
Cheers, Tim Love
